Offline AI component studio

Jemero

A desktop component studio that turns plain-language ideas into interactive interfaces. Generate, preview and refine React components with an AI model running on your own Mac.

Describe an idea. Make it interactive.

How it works

Users describe a component, block or page section, and a local coding model produces an implementation that renders on a live canvas. A bundled llama.cpp runtime uses Apple Silicon GPU acceleration, with model selection guided by the Mac's available memory. Prebuilt UI libraries and a sandboxed preview let users inspect responsive layouts, themes and component states without setting up a separate development environment. Refinement, code editing, reviews and version history form one workflow, with projects saved in SQLite and offline use available after the required models and libraries are installed.

The stack

  • Electron
  • React
  • TypeScript
  • llama.cpp
  • Metal
  • SQLite
  • Tailwind CSS

Problems solved

  • Brings prompt-based UI generation and interactive previews into one local desktop workflow.
  • Removes cloud inference and API-key dependencies from component creation after initial setup.
  • Keeps generated work editable and recoverable through automatic saving, version history and direct code access.
